Welcome to the 19th annual Best Places to Work Awards publication.
Recognizing companies that have created supportive work environments that help employees succeed has led to one of the Business Journal’s most popular programs.
The Business Journal partners with Quantum Workplace for Best Places to Work. The organization sends company employees a survey looking into issues like amenities, benefits, and corporate culture. Quantum created a scoring system based on the survey to identify the winners.
Some companies offer perks like an all-expense paid cruise to retreats to Las Vegas, Disney World and all points in between. Employees said they valued higher 401(k) company matches, unlimited PTO, flexible schedules and social gatherings.
Honorees fall into five categories: extra-small (10 to 24 employees), small (25 to 49), medium (50 to 99), large (100-249) extra-large (250-plus).
The Business Journal is proud to congratulate all the 100 winning companies.

Nearly 700 guests gathered at the Rosenberg Skyroom at the University of the Incarnate Word on Thursday, July 20 for an out-of-this-world-themed award ceremony. Many guests arrived in space-themed costumes.
