Shelby Park Library Petition
The Shelby Park Neighborhood Association and friends have been advocating that our original Carnegie library and currently dormant community center at 600 E Oak Street be returned to its original purpose and reactivated as a library. We are advocating that the Highlands/Shelby Park branch remain as the Highlands branch and the Shelby Park library return to its original home. Our neighborhood is in desperate need of community space and it is past time for this building to be renovated and utilized as the active, vibrant, neighborhood library we know it can be. This is the letter SPNA sent to Mayor Craig Greenberg expressing our concerns, wishes, and commitment to seeing this through. Please sign below if you support this effort and the sentiments expressed in our letter below. You can also access the letter at this link Thank you for your support!
