Texas patients now have access to inhalable medical marijuana products.
Texas Original, the state's first Texas-based medical cannabis provider, recently launched medical cannabis vaporization devices, giving Texans another option for managing qualifying conditions through the Compassionate Use Program.
Eligibility and accessFor those interested in medical cannabis vaporization, the first step is getting a prescription from a physician registered with the Texas Compassionate Use Program.
Chronic pain, PTSD, neuropathy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and many other qualifying conditions may make Texans eligible for medical cannabis.
After receiving a prescription, patients can order products online or pick them up at Texas Original locations across the state.
New patients receive 20% off their first order, and veterans and first responders receive 20% off every purchase.
How vaporization worksDifferent from edible products, vaporized medical cannabis is absorbed through the lungs, with effects often felt within minutes.
Because of the fast-acting nature of the product, vaporization can be a useful option for patients managing sudden or breakthrough symptoms who may need relief more quickly.
Each inhalation delivers a consistent, measured dose of 3-5 mg of THC, helping provide more predictable symptom relief. The vaporization cartridges are available in three varieties:- Blackberry Kush (Indica)
- Blue Dream (Sativa)
- OG Kush (Hybrid)

This launch comes as Texas' medical cannabis program continues to expand. Medical cannabis has been legal in Texas since the Compassionate Use Act was passed in 2015, but House Bill 46 significantly broadened access in 2025.
The legislation added chronic pain as a qualifying condition, expanded eligibility to more than 150 conditions, and authorized new product formats, including vaporization devices and concentrates.
